1.one of the top players in this field are microsoft with crm 3.0.. there is no downloadable demo but u can connect to MS demo servers and check out the product.
2.it seems salesforce.com is the best and has a very large user base…
3.sugarcrm is the largest among the open source initiatives… its got a whole lot of free plugins that extends the functionality of the product.. its based on the LAMP (linux, apache, mySQL, PHP/Python/PERL ) stack.. but sugarcrm installs on windows too…
