why does my cuzins kid call me “athayi”?? the mystery question of the century!!.. the classical american answer would be “i dunno” (from the ears of it, american people just love using this phrase… ).. heres more about the nomenclature.. from out of the blue, with absolutely whatsoever no cue, my cuz’s 1 year old daughter starts calling me ‘athayi’.. what does it mean? .. ‘ i dunno‘ (sounds familiar??).. some interpret it as: since my last name is mathew ~ mathayi ~ athayi.. but the mystery still remains and will remain until the kido grows old enough for some explanation.. so much for my first post in the new found world of WEB 2.0…
